Statue Of Lord Shiva

This statue is located at Dwarka - Gujrat, India.

Alongside Nageshwar Temple is an 85’-0” tall statue of Lord Shiva sitting on a 10’-0” high platform against a backdrop of Himalayan mountains (30’-0” high). The height of the statue is complementary to the temple with its tall Shikhara.The statue is fronted with a water body representing the Manasarovar on Kailash Mountain. The Himalayan backdrop is the Parikrama which takes devotees through Cave – like setting. The walls of the caves depict stories of Shiv – Mahima (Greataness of Lord Shiva) attempting to enlighten the new generation.
